Bergerac is situed in Nouvelle Aquitaine in the south west of France. It is a really a nice spot to discover.

Bergerac is located midway between Bordeaux and Sarlat and is ideally situated for visiting this wonderful corner of Aquitaine.

The department of the Dordogne is renowned for its one thousand and one chateaus. The architecture is magnificent and many of its villages have been classified as among the most beautiful in France.

The Perigord (the original name for the region) has an outstanding prehistoric and archeological heritage, with fifteen sites classified by UNESCO as world heritage sites.

There are a wide variety of sporting activities, including: hiking, climbing, archery, adventure parks, horse riding and paragliding, for the enjoyment of everybody.
